Email to Participants (Just in case you missed it…): Hello, Thank you for registering for this year’s RidgeWalk & Run. We are reaching out to inform you that the decision has been made to change to a virtual only event for this year. This decision was not made lightly and is based on a number of factors, including the increasing number of COVID positive cases in our area and our dependence on hospital and school resources to bring this event together. These resources are already stretched very thin and the RidgeWalk event cannot take place without the support of hospital, school, and community resources. In response to this change, we are offering you three options with your registration: 1) Change to the virtual event 2) Request a deferral to next year’s event 3) Request cancellation of your registration and a refund To make any of the above changes: Send an email to Deanna Worth at Deanna_worth@urmc.rochester.edu. ¨ Note your choice from the options above in the email including the event you registered for It would be helpful to put RidgeWalk in the subject line of the email We hope you will decide to join us virtually this year and your continued support as we navigate through these challenging times is greatly appreciated.
